Designer challenge -Like a butterfly in the spring

Hello, dear participants! I'm glad to welcome you to the first round of Designer challenge .



As you could guess from the title, the theme of the first round is "Butterflies". These beautiful and elegant creations always were a great source of inspiration for fashion designers!
So, let's go to the assigned themes…

But, wait. First let me introduce your old acquaintance Lirelanta (my FPK OC). I thought she'd make a good model for me, because you know, I would not have been true to myself without making this challenge too! I hope you wouldn't mind her accompanying you in your design journey .
As the first theme is "Butterflies", here she is in relatively simple outfit inspired by Dichonia aprilina moth.




And now to your themes. I tried my best to find the most beautiful and unique butterflies to inspire you, I hope you like them.

whitewolfdreamer27 – your butterfly is the Chinese luna moth (Actias dubernardi)
As soon as I saw it, I knew that with these colours and elegance, it is your butterfly.




Candy-Cane-xo – your butterfly is the Claudina Agrias
I figured that you like bright colours, so here it is.




Princess-Rosella – your butterfly is the small elephant hawk-moth (Deilephila porcellus)
This pink butterfly was one the most close to purple what I managed to find.




Eolewyn1010 – your butterfly is the Pipevine Swallowtail (Battus philenor)
Not too pale, and I hope you don't mind blue colour.




Impossibly-Me – your butterfly is Rotschildia jacobaeae
I liked the rich colours and pattern here; hope you will like them too.




musicmermaid – your butterfly is the Cypris Morpho
Your username makes me think of sea, and this butterfly has some sea blue colour.




msbrit90 – your butterfly is the Bhutan Glory (Bhutanitis lidderdalii)
For you I looked for something truly original… Well, at least you couldn't call it "ordinary" .




LadyDesmoria – your butterfly is the Lesser Purple Emperor (Apatura ilia)
You said you're up for any colour. So I'll take you up on that!

Sunny yellow and some blue, I hope you approve.

Black colour and metallic sheen, just by your request .

One of the most famous butterflies in the world. It will make a good contrast to the rather light model.

AngelOfBeauty88 – your butterfly is Stichophthalma louisa
It shall go well with violet.




MisMae – your butterfly is the Chinese moon moth (Actias sinesis)
I found a very curious and unique colour variation.




momo5522 – your butterfly is the European peacock (Aglais io)
You may say that it's quite common, but this fact doesn't make it less beautiful!




DeeryDeerth – your butterfly is the oleander hawk-moth (Daphnis nerii)
One of my favourite butterflies. I hope you don't find it boring.
